We see too many ploys, deceptions, tricks, mischaracterizations, and outright lies from the Radical Left. Why are you supporting their methods? Are you on tilt? Since we are talking Obama, the other Obama objection I have is his job creation method of creating a massive Government regulatory bureaucracy than stifled business willingness to reinvest into our economy. This was the reason why the post Great Recession recovery was the worse in our country’s history. For a better sense of Obama’s true mentallity, take a look a Obama’s Brownshirt-like idea that is reminiscent of Hilter’s youth. Obama’s efforts to indoctrinate 15 and 16 years olds during term may be the genesis of the violent and law breaking group, ANTIFA. For that matter, Obama is trying to recruit even more youth to his political movement even today, according to the Guardian article attached below: Obama wants to 'create a million young Barack Obamas' The former US president said his nonprofit foundation could create ‘up and coming leaders’ to take on the baton of ‘human progress’ Paul Owen in New York @paultowen Sun 25 Mar 2018 16.10 EDTLast modified on Mon 26 Mar 2018 07.54 EDT This article is over 10 months old Shares 7,781 Video image of former president Barack Obama at a conference in Tokyo, on Sunday. ‘The single most important thing I could do is to help develop the next generation,’ he said. Photograph: AP Barack Obama has said he would like to create “a million young Barack Obamas” to take on the baton of “human progress”, during a discussion in Japan about his post-presidential life. “The single most important thing I could do is to help develop the next generation,” he said. The former US president said his nonprofit the Obama Foundation could create a “platform for young, up-and-coming leaders” to exchange information with each other about projects they were working on. “If I could do that effectively, then – you know – I would create a hundred or a thousand or a million young Barack Obamas or Michelle Obamas,” Obama told a conference in Tokyo. “Or, the next group of people who could take that baton in that relay race that is human progress.” Advertisement Obama also talked about the potential for young people to bring about change, hailing Saturday’s March for our Lives gun-control demonstrations. “This was all because of the courage and effort of a handful of 15- and 16-year-olds, who took the responsibility that so often adults had failed to take in trying to find a solution to this problem, and I think that’s a testimony to what happens when young people are given opportunities, and I think all institutions have to think about how do we tap into that creativity and that energy and that drive. “Because it’s there. It’s just so often we say: ‘Wait your turn.’” Obama had also tweeted his support on Saturday, writing: “Michelle and I are so inspired by all the young people who made today’s marches happen. Keep at it. You’re leading us forward. Nothing can stand in the way of millions of voices calling for change.” Donald Trump has yet to comment personally on the marches, although the White House praised the demonstrators for exercising their right to free speech. Obama also discussed the problem of social media walling off readers according to their political views. “One of the things we’re going to be spending time on, through the foundation, is finding ways in which we can study this phenomenon of social media and the internet to see are there ways in which we can bring people from different perspectives to start having a more civil debate and listen to each other more carefully,” he said. The former president also told the conference that denuclearisation negotiations with North Korea were difficult because the country’s isolation meant other countries had little leverage over it. “North Korea is an example of a country that is so far out of the international norms and so disconnected with the rest of the world,” he said. Obama has been cautious about criticising his successor, although he has made an exception for issues such as the travel ban on Muslim-majority countries and Trump’s heavily criticised remarks equating neo-Nazis with the protesters opposing them in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was speaking at an event sponsored by a Japanese nonprofit group in Tokyo on Sunday. Our country needs a break from the divisive and counterproductive politics of the Radical Left. More than ever, we need to support Trump and help keep America Great. Edit: Copied the combined quotes and placed it on top of this post.
Believe me...watch the video... which you really should even if you are lefty... then watch Lanny Davis respond.... you can see the old school lefty in him had to agree with Bannon... At first I thought his response was garbage but he made a masterful transition... and did cut into Trump... he did not attack Bannon's message because it was old school pro america democrat. Bannon wanted to concede that Trump got off the rails.... but he still wants Trump to execute on the China plan... you could sort of see the tension in Bannon. What I am saying is Bannon's message should appeal to any true liberal. He said the inequality in America is obscene. He spoke about why. It was an awesome run down. Remember he tried to get Trump to execute on economic nationalism... but Trump got rolled by Ryan and McConnell and Bannon was exiled. You can tell Lanny (who is a smart man) agreed with everything that Bannon was saying (except for the attacks on the democrats) Bannon is an American Democrat from before the cronies took over. You all have to see that. We can rebuild America. We on the right have to drop some of the social issues You on the left have to return to caring about American workers rather than droning for the crony agenda... and then we could make America really great. Deeper level... Bannon is one of the few high profile thinkers in the world... trying to save Western - Judeo Christian Values and the current status quo. Think about the alternative. As he implied if -- we have 2 competing models... You have China's emperor model... and Islams Caliphate model trying to take over. The cronies and the bankers probably desire a hybrid of those models with them in control... But they are playing a game of brinksmanship with much older models. What if they miscalculate and lose? For that matter what if they win?
Donald J Trump Plus 400 billion a year added to the deficit and a massive increase of wealth inequality.
So Bannon is talking about the obscene concentration of wealth and stagnant wages. He is correct in that the two are connected but what he is wrong about is that a trade imbalance is the cause. Tariffs can and should be used on targeted segments of the economy. For example steel, some autos, certain foods etc. They are not smart to use to wage a trade war though. We should use trade pacts to isolate bad actors and leverage high standards. Now with profits at an all time high and wealth concentration at an all time high please explain why we can’t leverage the law to increase wages when know for a fact tax cuts only lead to increased profits and do not trickle down as real wage increases.
You actually see the Radical Left’s model as actually being more viable than Trump’ platform? By the way, what would the mechanism for long term job creation and economic stability with the “Democratic plan”? Come to think of it, what is the Democratic plan? Hopefully, if there is one, is is more evolved than media darling, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s plan.
Wages as a percentage of businesses expenses has been declining for decades. For many industries, is was over 50%, now it is many times in the 20% range. Technology is part of this. The cost of hiring, workmans compensation, employment compensation, and excessive regulatory compliance requirements have made labor very expensive to the point businesses will ration this cost of production to the greatest extent possible. So a natural question is where does this “extra” business money ultimately end up? If the business buys back its stock, buys Government bonds, or pays its CEO a big bonuses, what happens then? The people or organizations who recieve this money will then have it to spend. What do they do with it? Hopefully they spend it so others can benefit. The worse thing for an economy is for people to hold cash, like some entities do when they are scared. Therefore, they key again is to incentivize investment so we all benefit. That said, this cycle can also work from the bottom up. For example, tax cuts on wage earners will go almost exclusively to buying goods and services. As demand for goods and services increases, the need for business expansion and hiring increases, resulting in an economically virtuous circle. However, it is human nature to become complacent over time. Their reduced productivity that usually ensues complacency results in a economic decline. If my theory is reasonably close to really, it seems to follow there are at least six takeways that can be derived from this: 1) Our system is designed to keep people working, whether is high taxes on wage earners, high education costs, high healthcare insurance costs or medical care, and the selling of home ownership as the American dream. 2) A smaller Government and its correspondingly lower budgetary needs means less tax burden. 3) A lower tax burden on small businesses and the working class from all sources increases overall economic opportunity and prosperity. 4) Government policy from career politicians is not as efficient at allocating resources as businesses are in a compeitive environment. 5) The free market system, if it is truly free, allocates capital and resources to the most efficient. Pay your employees too little? They will go to a employer that is willing to pay them more. Where would the money come from for paying their employees more without reducing their competiveness such as would happen if they raised their prices? it would be from either accepting lower profit margins or developing an advantage in a technology or process where the business could benefit from reduced resource expenditures or increase employee productivity. Can you now see why intellectual property is such an important issue in our trade negotiations with China? Can you see how a truly free market system can effectively regulate companies profit margins? 6) Government should ensure the free market system truly remains free. Trump is not our enemy. He understands business and human nature. His platform, although not perfect, seems far better than anything the Democrats have right now. I wish the moderate Democrats would stop allowing themselves to be led by the nose by Radical Leftists with their Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mentality.
I think the cronies are running the agenda. They warn us about robots replacing workers yet they are bring in a million more people to dilute our vote every year. I doubt the establishment democrats or republicans have a plan that is good for the vast majority of americans especially the ambitious ones.
