I went to try to get a loan for a commercial building where I did have the 20% down payment and good credit, and they said I still need a cosigner. Our company pays more to lease than the it would cost to own a building. At this point I plan to just re-new the lease and then maybe I can find someone in the future who wants to go 1/2 in with me on the down payment since the business makes enough money to pay the monthly cost of the loan, and then I can either buy him out or sell the building when its paid off. Really sucks that no one is lending...
