It's the price to get paid what they can when they get fulltime offers. Banks don't just hire you and hand you a sack full of money. You have to work hard. The industry is competitive as everyone is trying to win deals and mandates.
Working for someone is much easier. . Imagine if these 45,000 young people started a business! Even at 3 per business 'team', that would be more than 15,000 new businesses. Working 1 year 100-hours/week on their own start-up would mean they could be calling the shots when meeting executives ( technically their potential employeees) , few years down the line. Looks like the brainwashing is working well.
A tragedy. His last moments in life were probably thinking about a pitch book that will be edited a thousand times and tossed in the garbage by some potential client.
That's not true you can cold call without a license. If someone agrees to an appointment then you have to hand it off to a licensed individual. You just can't talk about specific securities or investment options. but you can cold call all day long. My firm hires many interns for that exact reason, to cold call potential clients, then hand client off if they agree to an appointment or follow up call
Why are these guys so overworked up? I have heard of special forces going to 10 days with only 1 hour a day sleep. However, they are trained to take 5 minute power naps to refresh their mind functions every two hour or so and thus barely feel the overload on the body functions. Guess these interns were not trained in those tricks to keep mind going. Also if you flood your body with high red bull type caffeine then chances of heart attack increase by several times.
remind me again, what is the purpose of outsourcing jobs to Indians ? to save money ?!!?!? these guys work for free so how can one save money with someone else that gets paid. and lets not forget all sorts of fees paid to this and that an third crook.
