You can call and have them change the options commission rate to $9.95 and .75 per contract. Better than the usually advertised price.
I used to do some Credit Spreads on GOOG with about a week or two before exp. Has a good potential, but you really have to watch it. Not something you just put on "Auto Pilot".

I am referring to a bull call spread (assuming you have a bullish outlook) Say the stock is at 80, you buy an 80 call and sell a 90. The premium collected on the 90 offsets the purchase of the 80.
