Ban Tea and Coffee for More Important Foods

  1. Millions and millions of hectares of worldwide land is used for Tea and Coffee productions. Tea and coffee is not important for human beings.

The worldwide land used for Tea and coffee should be used for production of Wheat, Corn and other important foods that gives strength to good human beings. When millions and millions of hectares of additional land is used for cultivation of important foods, the world food price will fall to great extent.

Something has to be sacrificed to bring down the price of important foods. Basically ban worldwide tea and coffee productions.

Why not ban tobacco and alcohol.

  3. I agree 100%, immediately ban tobacco, alcohol, cigrattes. These useless products destroy massive amounts of world money. The same money can be used for welfare of better world economy.

But tea and coffee production consume millions and millions of hectares of world land and these products are of no benefit/use to human body. They have no nutritional value.

  4. Wal-Mart: Our shoppers are 'running out of money'

With food prices rising, Duke said Wal-Mart is charging customers more for some fresh groceries while reducing prices on other merchandise such as electronics.

Wal-Mart (WMT, Fortune 500), which averages 140 million shoppers weekly to its stores in the United States, is considered a barometer of the health of the consumer and the economy.

Wal-Mart's core shoppers are running out of money much faster than a year ago due to rising gasoline prices, and the retail giant is worried, CEO Mike Duke said Wednesday.

To that end, Duke said he's not seeing signs of a recovery yet.

"We're seeing core consumers under a lot of pressure," Duke said at an event in New York. "There's no doubt that rising fuel prices are having an impact."

Wal-Mart shoppers, many of whom live paycheck to paycheck, typically shop in bulk at the beginning of the month when their paychecks come in.

Lately, they're "running out of money" at a faster clip, he said.

"Purchases are really dropping off by the end of the month even more than last year," Duke said. "This end-of-month [purchases] cycle is growing to be a concern.

  5. The millions of farmers and workers employed in Tea and coffee production will be get employed in important food production industry such as Wheat, Corn etc.. No unemployment but cheap important food. Think about it.

  6. Why don't we ban marijuana and coca farming?

    Oh wait...

  7. They tried that with alcohol. It was an abysmal failure that resulted in a horrific period of crime of our history.

The only real solution to all of the worlds problems is to have fewer people. That sounds horrible I know but that is the reality. As the human population grows, we have to clear more land to make room for the people, grow additional food, as well as to provide the necessary lumber to build housing. This means we have fewer and fewer trees producing oxygen which we obviously need to survive. It creates more demand for food, oil, energy, and water which are all finite resources. It creates more pollution which poisons the air we breath, the water we drink and the food we eat. This also creates more and more "impervious ground cover" which results in more flooding problems, since the ground has less surface area to absorb rainfall. Eventually we are going to reach a breaking point where the planet just can't handle any more people.

Don't get me wrong I am NOT advocating any sort of mass genocide, but I do think the whole world should start looking into population control measures similar to what China has already done. Women should probably be only be allowed one child period and allow the population to shrink based on natural attrition until we get back down to a more manageable level. Failure to take some action now will eventually find us wiped out due to a complete lack of any necessary resources. If we cut down and destroy too much of our oxygen producing vegetation while constantly increasing the demand on the oxygen supply we will
eventually run out of oxygen. Then again maybe this is what we need to happen to save the planet.

  8. Millions of hectares of world's forests and Trees are cut/chopped down for tea and coffee production. Today world forests are in serious trouble. If world Trees and Forests disappear and die then human beings will also die. Tea and coffee provide no nutrition value and strength to human body. Think about it.

Everybody forgot about world forests and trees.

  9. I think no animal eats tea leaves and the same applies to coffee beans.

No animal eats chilly and pepper. Only human beings eat what animals do not eat. Why?
