I'm confused. We are supposed to use these crappy lights to save electricity, but obama also wants to force us to drive electric cars, which will use vast amounts of electric power. Maybe he doesn't understand where the power comes from. After all, he seems to actually believe that wind and solar are viable ways to generate large-scale power. There may be good reasons to use CFLs and LED lights, in which case I think the market will sort it out. We do not need know-it-all liberals telling us what kind of bulb to use. What's next, telling us what to eat and how to cook it? Oh I forgot, they already want to do that. And they say conservatives are the ones who want to run peoples' lives.
