I have a degree in Finance and I would say that I learned absolutely nothing about trading during my years in college. Even classes like "Advanced portfolio management" and "Advanced Investments" were completely useless. The only good thing you'll learn from those classes is how to manage risk, which is a good start, but don't expect to come out of college being an expert trader. Those finance classes are a good start but you'll have to learn the majority of stuff on your own.

I highly suggest reading books by Alexander Elder, Thomas Bulkowski, Mark Douglas, Dick Davis, Nicholas Darva, and so on if you want to learn anything meaningful.
