    Too bad we can't simply trust and rely upon our elected officials to do what is in the best interest of the country and our people...

    You know, we're all suspicious that his is just ANOTHER GIGANTIC HOSE JOB... or even if there is some truth, the real truth is DISGUISED MISAPPROPRIATION OF OUR ASSETS...

    Wouldn't that be interesting?

    Their excuse is probably something like, "CONGRESS/HANK/BENNIE/BUSH CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH".
     
  5. Joe Kernan quoted a Congressman who said his calls were running 50-50 on the bailout. 50% no, 50 % HELL NO.

    We're seeing a mini example of how capitalism is supposed to work...

    BSC and WM did high risk, poor quality business and suffered.

    JPM didn't do that (or at least much less so), and are being rewarded for being prudent and having capital.

    So... why is it imperative that we shore up the negligently GREEDY and dumbasses at tax payer expense???
