In contrast, Google China grabbed a 20.7% market share, up from 17.2% in 2007. Baidu and Google put together accounted for over 90% of China search market with expanding gap from their followers including Yahoo China, Sohuâs Sogou and Tencentâs SoSo etc. Tencentâs SoSo was the third Chinese search play in 2008 with a 3.3% market share versus 3.6% in 2007, still a far distance from the top 2 competitors.
