  1. The safest area in Nassau is PI; Atlantis controls it.

There are others, inside Lyford is fine; just not my choice ...

  3. Is there a community college in Freeport; if yes please state the name if you know it?
Can one rent a room in Freeport for about $700 per month?
Is there a web site that has advertisements?
Is there a food store in Freeport that sells mostly organic food, and if so what area is it in?

  4. rowenwood,

Maybe we should share an apartment. I eat organic too. I think it will be difficult to find that stuff but food should be natural (hopefully). Where are you? In the UK?

I think metooxx said you can find stuff (apartments) all the way down to $600 .

  5. I'm in California. I lived in the UK; I've a US and an EU passport. Where are you from? When would you be interested in going? I must have a school to attend. If I can find a school then I can leave either in mid may or late August. Or otherwise. If I can't find a school maybe I'll use Uni of Phoenix online. There is a co college in Nassau, the capital, and so what do you think of Nassau?

  6. I am in the UK. Can't wait to leave. So far I have it planned for late spring/summer 2005, I need some time to arrange everything and scrape a bigger stake.

  7. Is Nassau the city that has apartments available for down to $600 per month? Are you going to arrange for a shipping container?

  8. If you start a company that meets the requirements and are approved for benefits your US tax obligation is less than 4% and that flows through to the principals. Not as easy as it sounds though.

Or, you go under someone's umbrella and pay them a management fee of say 10% and it is reduced to around 13.5%.

Best deal for US citizens in the world ...
