He not running for anything....nor will he ever run for national office again. Similarly to Gary Hart...he's relegated to the occasional (unread) OpEd and talking head shows. Which BTW Edwards will probably make more money being a media douche bag than he would being a public servant.
What's funny though Doc is when SurveyUSA polled Obama paired with Edwards Obama's numbers skyrocketed. Far better than any other hypothetical matchup. Two slime buckets for the price of one.....
Not surprising...Usama is a rolling turd. McCain is corpse.....ala Dole Ya know P ....there was only one quick time where I thought Edwards may be the guy who communicated best with the American media....now I find out he was dragging along his biznatch for the ride. Gots to say though....better than dragging that Cow Hilary around for the ride.
However Usama/ Edwards v McCain/Rommeny is a total toss up to me. But I doubt those combo's will happen.
For me, as someone who doesn't affiliate with a party, the Edwards affair is despicable because his wife has battled cancer for a number of years, they tragically lost a child, AND she was willing to add to their family while she was in her 50s. There's a lot of stress there - sorry that your older, heavier wife wasn't doin' it for ya. HOWEVER - have you seen this "Rielle" broad? Nasty! She's a real piece of work. Total nut - she's a social climbing hag who changed her "Rielle" name to sound more upper-class, bedded rich men to get ahead, tried to sell a pitch to a producer about her life as a mistress, but can't even take care of herself. She looks like she was hit by a bus. I will take that statement back if she was. So, Edwards is getting what he deserves.
Not to mention the criminal aspect of what Mr. Edwards has done. I'd love to see that ambulance chasing scumbag go to prison.
