I'm new to strategy trading. I'm just starting out with Tradestation. I called Tradestation and asked them if they keep any fundamental data that I could incorporate into my strategies. For example, will a company with 3 consecutive periods of earnings growth respond to a bullish set up better than a company that does not have steady earnings growth? Tradestation does not offer any fundamental data, only technical. Does anyone know if there is a way to incorporate this information into a trading strategy so it can be back tested? Is there a CD or a database that might contain fundamental information? Can this information be some how imported into the Tradestation environment so it can be backtested? If anyone has already gone down this road I'd love to know what you found out.
