O.k Im planning to upgrade my computer in the near future and once ive configured it exactly as i want it I want to be able to save it like that. So that if say a trojan of some kind or cookies etc accumulate on it I can simply revert back to the original saved harddisk. Do i need two hardrives to backup my original settings? Im using xp pro. I know there is a chip or some software that will do this. Basically i want to keep the system fresh as the day i got it by saving it before its becomes infected with viruses and trojans so what i need is a way to revert back to the original settings. How do I do this. Can I back up my hard disk and then just keep reinstalling this backed up copy? Any ideas would be ab ig help. Thanks.
