Backfill problems with IB

Anyone else having issues with backfill using IB and quotetrakker? Last few days, it either takes forever or wont do it at all.

 

Yup. Same here. Problems since last week actually. sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I seem to have more persistent problems with certain symbols such as RUT and some other stocks like CSIQ, DRYS, etc... weird.

** edit: I use Amibroker and I get the same problems.

 

It's IB, I already snaked through to the cause. QT is fine. No estimate from IB on a resolution.

 

I improved performance by asking for less data. I set amibroker to just ask for 1 days data.

 

I only use IB and have the same problem. Intraday backfill calls fail frequently...frustrating!

GLOBEX seems to be worse than ECBOT specially when trading activities are high.

 

any good backfill sources someone can recommend?
