  1. What do you think of the other stocks like JPM and USB?

Will they survive, will they continue to pay dividends.

Everything keeps hitting lower lows, where do you see support if any?

Is it worth it to own any bank stocks going forward, they seem to all be going chapter 11?

  2. This one was of Cramer's Fortress 4 last year. He oughtta don a cape, wand and hat as he has this magical ability to cut things in half. Expect him to do more of what he did last week on one of his shows; talk about his past performance at his hedge fund to waste time and shift the focus away from his bad calls.

Can ya believe C still pays its dividends on its preferred shares? And Bill Gross likes AIG preferreds?

  4. Looks like BAC might pop to $7 or $7.50. That would probably be a nice short there. I’ll bet it hits $1 before to hits $10. Once the government bailouts start, shareholder equity will be wiped out. I can’t wait for this to go under. Hopefully JPM will be next.

  7. Yes the government will not let Bank of America fail, BAC however will be wiped out. There’s a difference.

It popped to $7.50 right now. I still say it will hit $1 before $10. I can’t wait for this to crash.

  9. May mean "Hey, we are confident in our company" :

Goldman Sachs Group Inc., the biggest U.S. securities firm to convert to a bank, plans to sell 10-year notes without the backing of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., according to a person familiar with the offering.

The senior notes may price as soon as today, said the person, who declined to be identified because terms aren’t set.
