Ah, appreciate the heads up. I'm not a banking expert at all (obvious, I know). Was this post that threw me:
I am not familiar with the FED wire, or how exactly the system works. However, what I do know, is the problem originated on Friday and hasn't been fixed yet according to my local banker. You don't need to be an expert to realize BAC is in trouble, along with many other banks. Heck, take a look at BAC's chart. Obviously something is wrong, very wrong.
So what's my alternative? Put my money in my mattress at home? Get a 5 foot safe bolted to the floor with an electric voltage wired booby-trap? If I'm going to have money in a bank - which I need to function like a normal human being - then I pick one of the banks "too big to fail". No? It's not the same as putting the money in the "First Bank of Sparta" down the road, right?
This is Sparta! <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LFv-q0qnTIQ&hl=en"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LFv-q0qnTIQ&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
