Differing perceptions , opinions are what make mkts. Babak puts a hell of a lot of work into his efforts, I for one enjoy reading it and respect the quality of his derived opinions even though we are on opposing sides at the moment. It's amaturish that some get their egos so involved, nobody's right all the time, we all have our green weenie days, that's how we learn. I would be more interested in discovering how another participant's mind was working to see if I might learn something new than expressing my own opinions. Anything I post anywhere is simply my opinion and never a critique. It's impossible to know the future untill it becomes the present and many have bets on opposing sides going at any given time.
The chief reason why people get so angry about stuff like this is the niggling fear that the object of their anger might just be right, in which case they themselves would be wrong, and nobody likes to be wrong, particularly if they have a large ego stake in making "calls" and being admired. I couldn't care less whether Babak is "right" or "wrong". I enjoy following his train of thought. He makes the process transparent, much as Dunnigan did. Wish I could say the same for other ET members.
babak said he wanted to have us make him eat crow if he was wrong. who wants to give him his first feeding? to be wrong, and have the market go 5% against you is not peanuts, so please don't apologize for him. 5% is alot to me, but I don't like to lose. just my thoughts here.
Very quiet on this thread...could it be because the Sps are trading at 960 after breaking DOWN from a wedge? Where are the bearish cheerleaders now?
I'll make you a deal. You stop posting the same rants over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.... and then I will stop removing your worthless, repetitive posts. You've made your points very clear: You are absolutely brilliant at prognosticating, probably one of the all-time greats No one at ET respects you at the levels you deserve For short-term trading Babak was wrong in being bearish As a public service you want to warn all ET members of this grievous situation You will not let up until Babak admits his "error" to you Hopefully I covered all your important points so you won't feel compelled to post the same thing to this journal a half-dozen times per day.
Wait a minute Magna, if you're going to summarize his position, at least do it accurately. Calling him a prognosticator simply doesn't do justice to his talents; much more than that, Jesse is, I quote, one "crackerjack trader". [my italics]
