The dogs of war don't negotiate
The dogs of war won't capitulate,
They will take and you will give,
And you must die so that they may live
You can knock at any door,
But wherever you go, you know they've been there before
Well winners can lose and things can get strained
But whatever you change, you know the dogs remain.

    Sincerely,
    Doug Gilmour

No military experience, because of the sacrifices made by those that have come before me.

My dad was wounded in a Navy battle in the Pacific. One of my uncles was in the same squad as commedian Buddy Hackett serving in the mud in France.

I served in the Air Force during the Vietnam war.

Had to be done. Glad many of you didn't have to. Wish nobody had to now.
