I remember in 2000 when they went public CNBC interviewed ATT employees who had bought into the offering at $30 or so and even bet the ranch on it. Cingular is buying ATT wireless for $15 a share in an all cash deal. Does that mean they get $15 and take a 50% loss? That would be if they didn't panic when they were down 90% I guess.
