db the question of how many women do I know who have had abortions...? is interesting.

there is sort of perceptual issue for you.
many women are pro abortion because they date leftists and would not want baby leftists. (joking... sort of) So to a leftist it seems all women are pro abortion.

however for many of us abortion is murder and not an option.
I know of zero women who have had an abortion but its not the type of thing most women would volunteer to tell me either.

I do know of about a dozen people who elected to raise the child or get married.
I know of many other couples who were dating and thinking about getting married so they started to have unprotected sex and then got pregnant and married.

Then perhaps you ought to do a little volunteer work at an abortion or planned parenthood clinic and develop a little understanding.

Or you could just continue being a rigid and intolerant zealot on the issue.

I believe abortion is killing of a human being... whether its justified by society or God is another story.
But, prior to LBJs welfare state and the advent of the pill... things were far different. There was a much smaller percentage of unwed mothers in the black community.

or I could continue to believe that killing humans is killing humans no matter how you try and re frame it.

    partial birth abortions are barbarous.

Dude, get with the program. It's ok to kill unborn, defenseless babies, but guns need to be outlawed.

Perhaps because of the number who died from back alley or self-induced abortions.

As to "human being", at what point does a cell become a human being? Or does it begin as soon as the potential mother thinks about it?

Genetically speaking? Or by some convenient definition you want to provide us?

db --- almost anything is possible such as a teapot orbiting saturn... however logically the person making the argument has the burden supporting it.

so I will wait until you research your own questions to respond.

Exactly. "I believe abortion is killing of a human being". How do you define "human being"?
