    Surfing elitetrader.com, of course.
Where else can you find some brilliant minds (ahem..:D ), some nasty minds, and everything in between?

Chat rooms are fun for me, ET has a good one with some good people in it.

    Listen to music.

Maybe look at adding futures or stocks to the mix.

You can't, there are always going to be boring times. One thing you can do is to research when the market is quiet. Set some price alarms in case something kicks off, then just stop watching the market and start doing something thinking about your methods, research, strategising, trading tactics and so on.

That's what I am doing now - I have on some positions but I am just waiting as they develop, so I am researching, looking on ET a bit, checking longer-term charts for other markets and so on.

When you are making money you do not mind being a little bored while waiting for things to set up for more money. On the other hand... when your money is being taken from you then you are bothered about the boredome because you are only waiting for someone to take your money again? ;)
