I'm not concerned. The 35 non- accredited investors will be friends and family. Most of my investors will be accredited. I intend to raise the minimum contribution significantly once I get the thing up and going and profitable. Besides, a very large portion of the population is accredited anyway. It takes only a 200k annual salary, or 2m in assets I believe. Most people who are active investors qualify anyway.
I'm just guessing here, but isn't a 200K + annual salary only earned by like 1% of the population? Then again, that 1% probably has 90% of the money.
Think about it though. That isn't a large portion of the population, but assuming that you aren't typing this at the library, just the fact that you're using a computer probably means that either you're accredited, or many people whom you know are accredited. In fact, most people who are investors are accredited.
