i am just planning to automate an intraday pairs trading program and the subsequent execution instructions, probably in VB. can someone shed some light on the relative ease/flexibility/speed of these platforms? thanks.
Each platform has its own pros and cons - who is doing the coding? What type of hardware will you be running it on and what type of data are you pulling in? Are you going to be using these just as a front end/GUI to look at or do you want to actually execute through the desktop software?
