To those who trade (equity or any non-exchange) spreads using IB: I am wondering what you use for your order execution. Are there any good autospreaders that work with IB (the kind where you seek to buy/sell the spread at a certain price, and work both/all leg limit orders simultaneously). My experience with limit combo orders in IB is that since IB doesn't want to assume any execution risk, you will only get executed when your spread limit has been crossed deep.That makes them useless for intraday swing trading or scalping of spreads. I am using my own homebrewed autospreader which works very well for me, but as I need to develop the GUI aspect of it more and more, I am wondering what else is out there, and whether I should switch to that, or put some more effort to make my spreader available to others as well.
