We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal.

that is exactly right. No king, no lord, no church, no govt will hold themselves out as more equal than others.

    1. Slavery was all over the world. Kings and queens ruled the world over. These founders set forth a world wide revolution saying individuals were equal to kings queens, govts,

By putting in place those words, men who wrote it and voted for it knew they were laying the foundation to eliminate slavery.

Jefferson a slave owner wrote it. Can you imagine he did not understand he was indicting himself with his own words.

You have it exactly right. These men were classical liberals.
Small govt... big individual rights. They even put in place the foundation for freeing their own slaves. (or the next generations.)

Buckwheat loves to relive the 1800's. He would have made a fine slave. And who knows, maybe he was in a previous life since he talks about it so much.

At least he would have been able to work outdoors in the fields instead of third shift mopping floors. No slave owner would have made him work after dark! :D

Pretty funny how warped your logic is, because the government once stole the rights from your ancesters, you now cheer for a larger and more oppressive government as they once again steal your freedom from you, nice logic.

Stockholm syndrome, or capture–bonding, is a psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending them.
