Aud/usd

  1. AUD/USD historically has had serious problems maintaining above 7900. The RBA is a known seller of Aussie above that level. Don't know how long they can keep that up, but in general, 7900 is a take profit level. As I have just done.

  2. Well the retracement to the trendline came Tuesday evening, but I was busy and missed a good entry. Up another 100..

  3. Will be interesting to see if it can break the historical level, but even if it does, I'm not sure it can hold it. Looking tired.

  4. I'm going short here. Might be a bad idea, but it's near all time highs. Risk reward ratio is quite nice.

  5. From a technical standpoint, I'd say the risk of shorting is quite high. It broke out from the bull flag, while RSI and Full Stochs are not in overbought territory. I still can't believe this is up 300 pips in the past week and a half..

  7. Historically, going short at the 80 barrier has been a fantastic play, regardless of signals, bull flags or rhetoric. However, if "it's different this time", then it's different and I get stopped out. Which is more likely?

From the point of signal generation to exit large drawdowns can occur, the drawdown so far has been of 24% maximum from all the above signals.
