Best technology, best contractors. Boeing, Northrop, Raytheon, etc. Best defense technology (Aegis BMD, THAAD). Best equipment (Ford and Nimitz Carriers, F-15s/18s/22s, superior CAS with the A-10, M1 Abrams which is uncontested in war, etc) Most well trained and equipped military. So much so even first world militaries look like they're clanging rocks together (2/3 of them use our technology). Best generals on the planet. Going back to WW2 we weren't even going to get involved until we were attacked, and if we didn't get involved 3/4 of Europe would've been speaking German. The axis powers were basically a few weeks off of a coup-de-grace that would've finished the west in Europe. Not only did we beat the Nazis, we also sent Japan back into the fucking stone age. Not because we needed to, but because we wanted to see how our new fangled meme tier nukes would work...twice. The US hasn't been at war since WW2. Congress has not declared a war in any modern police action since. Every "loss" you'll respond to this with has been a politically motivated police action. Though you could argue we also roflstomped the north koreans in the 50s and the total victory against Saddam in the 90s were both successful police actions with the Saddam victory being like sending Michael Jordan in to beat a kiddie league after school basketball team.
