  1. Fundamental Law of the Physical Universe ......

"He who would inflow must first outflow "

and it works everywhere, in sales it works like a charm, the cognoscenti know it as the "numbers game" but what is not so well known is that "the degree of confront = rising above risk of failure/death/humiliation etc. in the outflow part of the equation" is what determines the quality and quantity of the inflow = wherewithal ... that engulfs the do-er down the road apiece.

    ----------------------------------------

With this backdrop, I've already risked getting banned, gotten thoroughly humiliated in my forex thread and know that I'm a total zero in trading. Even more ouflow will be done with time.

The master trader who reads this and decides to come in and help me, here is my perception of what I want and what I need him/her to have ....

In absolute terms aka ET-terms TraderZones and Hershey are tops, but within the broader perspective they are no higher than ONE on a 1-10 scale, with me being a ZERO. Richter scale analogy implicit here.

So if the master trader reads their posts he would know exactly how much higher I am shooting ...

    minimum "6" is required.

Any financial arrangement can be made but the duration of the tutorial will be extremely short if the coaching is on a 1-1 basis, most likely under a month.

    Find me now, Sir.

  2. .

SouthAmerica: Just use the ignore feature. I have 3 names on the ET forum on my ignore list that I never see their postings.

What you are suggesting is censorship.

  3. Warning Call: baron wake up call ....

thread will be brought to the surface, or if closed, then linked as a reminder that your folly was gargantuan. If deleted, I have a copy.

either way, best regards to you baron. :)

Crash from Oct 2007 top was handled by the bearcub, now its pappy is taking over for the next leg down. Starting time expected as soon as this worldwide upwave rally completes. Full blown deflationary depression with effects as outlined on pages 1 & 2 of my TA thread .....

Please watch these videos (abs. NO subscription is recommended, he was my teacher but I'm totally solo now) - and take this into account in your criticism of the speaker, Robert Prechter ......

The worldwide TOP is sooo large that mistakes by even 20 years are really only a small percentage of the total EMPIRE northbound move over the last several hundreds of years.

The TOP was Jan 14, 2000. The top formation is still underway but once this next downleg gets underway all doubters will be cured and there won't be time for preparation.

    wake up, baron.

  4. If OP's are able to self moderate their thread, it would make it easier for the charlatans and their shills to scam people, because they would be able to start a thread with their usual craps, and delete all postings done by real traders and past victims. Elitetrader.com will then lose it's value.

One of the best thing about this website is that people are not afraid to speak up when they sense something is wrong. This helps the readers in determining if someone is credible or not. Let's not change this.

  5. Very true. If a snake oil salesmen started a self-moderated thread, there is nothing to prevent past victims and real traders to create a counter-thread. You would still end up having arguments...it's just that the arguments will be "between threads" than "within threads".

At the end, self-moderated thread doesn't solve for anything at all!

  6. Has anyone considered a self moderated section in the forums?

This way the narcissists can have their own little pedestal to control and preach from. This along with the other forum divisions may add an additional layer of enjoyment to the site... something new.

  7. This is your 3rd post and you already posting on feedback. lol

If you really want to sell your system, ask Baron nicely, maybe he'll set up a System Seller Forum for you. Ofcourse, the forum and the related threads are all really advertisement/informercial. So, you might have to pay around $2000 - $3000/month to keep your thread. If you really have a good system, $3000/month would be nothing to you. You also might want to pay for a year in advance just so that Baron can't change his mind after a couple of months.

    Enjoy!

  8. OK baron, let's have a CLOSE look at these so-called EXPERIENCED traders at ET.

"Experienced" implies WORTHWHILE profitability =/>/+ making a decent/outstanding/outrageous living out of trading.

    (1)

In order to determine whether we have any such traders here, there must be posted trades - precise entry/exit/stop or TPs posted within seconds or minutes. Stops can be optional but there is no fckin around with the entry/exit posted in nano-realtime.

    (2)

There should be at least some analysis provided with the trade (no secrets need be divulged) - technical, fundamental or whatever, but a clear-cut explanation of why this trade is made must be stated.

    (3)

As the thread progresses, there must be some sort of consistency, longevity, a track record that is easily gleaned thru' an overall zoom-out AND/OR simply totalling up the points on a simple calculator, then dividing by TIME to get the earnings per period - therefore being able to extrapolate ..........

  9. Overall profitabilty for THE THREAD is what the newbie must be able to gauge easily in order to unequivocally ascertain whether he has landed on the doorsteps of a great trader he can attempt to emulate or osmote from. :)

I'd like to use Ivan's forex thread as THE example for this endeavor. I'm not done with the thread yet but its style exudes the kind of honesty I admire so its a great start.
