ATM is at 3.03 , vola is close to 50 . My cost is 2.75 by now.

any reason why you why you pick a short box? i can't be short naked any calls or puts on a stock like apple in my account due to size.. hence me doing broken winged flys to get more net short premium.. love hearing about it though..

 

i don't know why,for the credit i guess, but i was always short never long,theoretically a box trader would sell a box for 10 .25 and try to scalp it in for 9.75,doing 200,300,400 a month,and you didn't need a large acct as a market maker

 

Hahaha, got it. Yeah, it won't fly with IB/TOS etc.

 

So the straddle has come in nearly 50 cents.

 

He's selling the box for (stated) .60.

I don't follow AAPL, but it looks like div. priced in to me.

 

Rumor has it iPad mini invites come out tomorrow. Perhaps roll up and get neutral to 650 for a potential rally.
