  1. Bad health is the disadvantage for everyone, blond hair, brown hair, tan skin, white skin, black skin, big boobs, small boobs, tall, short... Bad health can disadvantage to all people.
What can happen to have a choice for private or public health insurance? People who have alot of money can have a private insurance if they want that. If private insurance has competition from public insurance, the private insurance will do a good job to give good service for a good price to compete.

  2. I'm not naive. Liberals have a goal, and no matter how they get their foot in the door or what they call it, they want power over your heathcare. Don't be fooled. It will be a mess, just like SS. That you can put your money on. Last post, gotta go.

  3. Look, the government makes us by auto insurance, polices what we do in our bedrooms, makes us get a passport to leave the country. They also offer, in various forms, free healthcare, welfare, housing breaks, and all the rest. As I mentioned in the other health care thread, these arguments on ET have little or nothign to do with healthcare.

As always, it's just another vehicle for the love Obama or hate Obame people to pass along whatever their personal choice of media nuts feeds to them. Rush, Hannity, Mathews, Ed Shculz, doesn't make any difference.

Medicare is probably one of the better run government projects, we'll see it will filter into a government option.

  4. Think the governments bad? Wait till the next crop of lawyers graduates and descends on American looking for excuses to
"earn" a living. You'll be paying a retainer to get a drivers license. Anywhere you use the word government replace it wih the word corporations and you haven't improved anything since whose going to pass along their fat margins to consumers?
