Atlanta Traders??

  1. Thanks for posting this. I am on the steering committee charged with bringing guest speakers for the year. It will be a great lineup - the first half of which will be announced at the meeting, but we have confirmed Martin Pring's attendance for our April meeting. More details to come.

  2. The Atlanta MTA invites you to join us next Thursday, March 31, 2005 for a presentation by Bo Yoder. Bo is a professional trader, author, and consultant to the financial industry on trading and risk management. Bo is a frequent contributor to domestic as well as international trading publications, and can be seen writing for RealMoney.com, Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities, Trader's, and Active Trader Magazine. In addition to consulting with individuals and market professionals, Bo publishes the Active Trader and Active Investor newsletters at 5minuteinvestor.com and is a featured speaker at seminars and industry expos. His latest book, Mastering Futures Trading was published by McGraw-Hill in 2004.

    Bo's presentation will begin at 6:00pm on the tenth floor of the Atlanta Financial Center at 3333 Peachtree Rd. (South Tower). The presentation will be preceded by the usual sandwiches and sodas on the tenth floor, in the vicinity of our meeting room at 5:30pm. In addition, the AMTA steering committee will also meet at this time.

    RSVP for the April 28th Martin Pring event is now OPEN. This special Atlanta MTA event will be held in conjunction with the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts (ASFA) at the Georgia Tech Conference Center and will cost $20 for all attendees. The event will begin at 6:00pm with snacks/hors d'oeuvres and the presentation will begin at 6:30pm. RSVP is required and reservations will be accepted on a first come-first served basis. To RSVP for this event, simple reply to tim_snavely@rhco.com with "Pring RSVP" in the subject header and list the names of the attendees. Individuals who RSVP and do not attend will be charged a $10 no-show fee.

    Martin Pring is widely regarded as one of the world's foremost technical market analysts. Martin has authored 15 books to date including Introduction to Technical Analysis, Martin Pring on Market Momentum, and his latest, Martin Pring on Price Patterns. Martin's most renowned text, Technical Analysis Explained, was published in 1979 and is in its fourth edition. In 1981, Martin founded Pring Research dedicated to the continued development of financial and economic indicators for timely and effective forecasting. The company publishes the Intermarket Review newsletter - a monthly perspective of the world's principal financial markets. Martin's presentation will focus on the causes and effects of intermarket relationships, and how they affect stock market sector and industry group rotation over the course of the business cycle

  3. just saw the average price for a place in atlanta is 157k, vs 370k in DC and 400k in Atlanta. i may have to move.

  6. lmao for 150k its a dump. anywere 1/2 nice now 300-600k. not a house in a 5 mile radius around me less than300k avg is 500k. that 150k avg includes downtown were nobody lives

  7. Check out Kennesaw,Roswell,or Alpharetta for some cheap and beautiful homes.Even under $200k gets you something really nice.

  8. Kennesaw is nice the homes around here havent run up as much as in other parts of Atlanta, myne was 154 about two years back and its not bad at all and its close to alot of stuff too.
