Yep. Atheists hold just as much faith in the non-existence of God, as Theists do in the existence of God.
There's a huge difference between faith and blind faith. A reasonable person can have faith, but blind faith calls for the lack of reason. I don't know your religion but I'd bet you're an Abrahamist (Jew, Christian or Muslim). That's a good bet because most modern theists are now Abrahamists. The God of Abraham requires blind faith. The evidence against your Old Testament or your Koran is overwhelming, even in this forum alone, and I won't bother repeating it. Reasonable ETers already know it, and the unreasonable ones will never acknowledge it. If you're going to argue faith, maybe you should know the basics first.
a grain of sand is less complex than a CLUMP. Do you disagree? (Is there Divine intervention in every clump! eek!) having never had a coke'acola, if you encountered an empty bottle along the beach would you create a corporate GOD to explain it?
There is no proof there is a god. There is no proof there isn't a god. Passionate argument on both sides with no facts or proof makes you all look like idiots (atheists included).
As usual, you see only what you want to see. Most atheists I personally know don't insist there is no god, we merely demand proof from those who insist there is a god. Our philosophy is very simple: We'll believe in your god when we see it (her, him, them). Evidence trumps everything else, especially wishful thinking.
