There is only science to answer and explain in practical ways how life came to exist and evolve. So far it's all chemical and remains so.
Anything else, well, just isn't science.

do you enjoy lying and trolling?
does it make you feel better.

Science has not and can explain how our universe came into existence.
Science can not see into that first split second of existence.
Science can not explain why our universe is so amazingly fine tuned for life.
Science can not tell us life evolved from non life by random chance.

I just remembered one of the other problems with life occurring spontaneously from non-life.

Even if science should reach a solution for life occurring from non-life, it also has to reach a solution for life to be able to reproduce at the same time. Not only does the first part, life occurring, take an extraordinary leap to get there but the the reproduction aspect occurring at the same time is just as improbable if not more so.

Gravity? Again, who exactly is disputing gravity?

  5. The point being gravity is a scientific theory that the god people don't question. They accept most scientific theory's except those that clash with the god belief.

Why does life from non-life need to be able to reproduce at the same time?
Can you also remember how the rest of the creationist irrationality goes on that?

  8. No I'm not confused. They think life began around 3.5 billion years ago. It then spent the next 2.5 bill as unicellular life. Evolution via random mutations and adaptation, competition and predation did the rest. Is it almost incredible and amazing? Yes. That's why I'm a naturalist by hobby and a pantheist by philosophy. Is it possible transpermia seeded early earth? Yes. But seeing as how any comets or meteors almost certainly came from this solar system and the solar system is as old as the earth it only serves to displace life origins to another place in this solar system. Personally, I think it's highly unlikely but it's possible that Mars was more amenable to life's formation in the early years than was earth and an asteroid splashed some bacteria from it our way.

I was watching the science channel a couple weeks ago. Twenty years ago they thought they knew what comets were made of, now they "know" they were flat out dead ass wrong.

In some left leaning political communities scientists are still waiting for intelligent life to evolve. :D
