Economy was terrible back in March of last year too.

That was when LVS had an intrday low of $1.38

    Today's close $ 27.03

    Hmmmmm.

    Not too shabby a return.

BP will continue to drop and drop, if these relief wells do not work out over the next couple of months this stock is going straight to the single digits, probably filing for bankruptcy!!!!! If they do fix the problem over the next month or 2 the stock could get some what of a bounce but problems will be around for decades to come with this company.

Ya i saw that bounce back, it was more of a lotto ticket back then tho. Still is, company may not earn enough to cover its debt.

Stocks move because the markets perception changes about them. Why it changes I could care less. That is a monster move percentage-wise no matter.

Oil spews again in Gulf after robot bumps cap

    By MICHAEL KUNZELMAN
    Story Tools

    NEW ORLEANS

Oil spewed uncontrolled into the Gulf of Mexico again Wednesday after an undersea robot bumped the cap being used to contain it, forcing BP engineers to remove the device and then scramble to reattach it.

The latest setback left nothing to stem the flow of oil at its source. A camera recording the well showed huge clouds of black fluid coming out of the seafloor. BP hoped to quickly replace the cap, which since June 4 had been carrying some of the oil gushing from the blown-out well to a surface ship.

Approximate amount of oil spilled since April 20th is between 67 million and 127 million gallons.

    Its old news already.

Cap again collecting oil from Gulf leak

By HARRY R. WEBER ( Associated Press )

ATLANTA – The logistics coordinator onboard the ship that's been siphoning oil from a gushing well in the Gulf of Mexico tells The Associated Press that a cap on top has been reattached and is again capturing some of the crude.................

Didn't bother copying complete story because I care more what the market thinks of BP than the media.

The forecastors are predicting a "busier-than-usual Atlantic hurricane season. "

Be advised however, that they almost always predict a bad season. I guess being a forecastor makes one pro-storm or something.

And fresh 52 week lows yet again for bp. This is still headed down, down, down. Why anyone would put a dollar into this stock is beyond me. This stock could be trading in single digits very soon.

Also keep in mind how many billions of dollars are tied to this one stock through pensions across the globe, this is not going to be good as this stock continues to plummet.

I'm not buying any but if you had bothered to look at another oil company such as oh the biggest in the world XOM you would see that it opened at $64.10 on the 21st and today is trading under $60

So "they" are selling them all lately.

$XOI.X shows this clearly as well.
