After living in California for over twenty years I can tell you that the weather and the scenery here are great... Everything else sucks. Californians pay the fourth-highest per capita taxes in the country, yet we rank at the bottom in almost every measure of success: 1. California has the highest poverty rate in the country. 2. California has the 4th worst unemployment in the country. 3. Californiaâs public education (K-12) is ranked 36th in the country. 4. California is ranked 47th in the country as a place to do business. http://taxfoundation.org/article/annual-state-local-tax-burden-ranking-fy-2011 http://www.ibtimes.com/fools-gold-california-has-highest-poverty-rate-united-states-1548707 http://www.bls.gov/web/laus/laumstrk.htm http://www.edweek.org/ew/articles/2...W1p2K2SFHTAx9&cmp=clp-edweek&intc=EW-QC13-EWH http://www.cnbc.com/id/100824779
I wonder if part of the problem is that is because we probably have 7 to 10 million more illegal immigrants here than we are counting. I suspect we probably have 5 to 10 million illegal immigrants in L.A. than are being counted.
that was good. -- think about what disaster amnesty would be if not just 20 million but 35 million currently illegal people get to vote for bigger govt.
Other than traffic and taxes, I like Mexicans, I really do. As a whole they are very good people. I don't see mexican americans as a problem... I see millions and millions more democrats as the problem. As far as living here.... we just experienced the best weather of my life the last 6 months. That to me is pretty valuable.
