Krikey! Farmer Mick! That plant down to the right of the window as you're looking out. Whats that? I like that roll away access door at opposite end of the walk. Nice touch.
Started off by accident, in a previous house we were living in, a bunch of baby frogs decided to befriend us. So when we shifted house they came along as many were living in our pot plants. They're kind of cute, but create work as they eat alot, I feed them additionally each evening with goldfish flakes, and they foul up the water quickly. They live with my small fish and they all get along. So really, its just the cuteness factor that does it and growing plants in water, I just experiment on seeing what I can grow.
Am growing pink guava, avocado, ginger, rosemary, lime trees, curry leaf, bayleaf, lemongrass, mango, and several other species.
I call BS. In a year, this is what your "gentle lillies and lemongrass garden" will become. Aussies are crazy.
Everyone here please notice how evil mouse is avoiding my response about the garden, BECAUSE HE KNOWS IT IS TRUE! Mmm hmm!
I think most Australian states are in lockdown atm, another covid scare has the state Premiers freaking. ".....Every state and territory is on high alert in fear of a national outbreak of the highly contagious Delta strain of COVID-19 as 35 new cases of community transmission were recorded in four separate jurisdictions....." The Australian/NZ travel bubble has also been cancelled.
