It’s just strange why, when there is world experience in combating the epidemic, they allow so many sick people and deaths? Explosions at nuclear power plants weren’t everywhere, but many are familiar with the fight against the consequences.

Yeah, still waiting for @systematictrader to follow through on his promise from a month ago that "i will get the info for you no worries". I guess he figures if he ignores being dead wrong on something he can avoid learning from it and that's a good thing because???

Car crashes happen every year for ever, Covid is a 1 time thing, car crashes kill more over all.

We'll see if it becomes leading cause of death by November (IHME's projections have always undershot the death count)

The bull vs bear debate hinges on an even bigger covid debate.

It might as well hinge on abortion rights.

I figure the 2nd wave will be much worse for the rioters/dead ducks/drunks parked in Wendy drive in,Italy, NJ, NY, old folks homes,+never was first wave.

Italy was heavy in smoking [2] heavy in old age [3] Heavy in socialized medicine/filth.
As far as believn' fake Fauci /huh?? That fake admitted to lies about face mask because he wanted to save most of the face masks for medical personell.

    If OK has a huge 2nd wave after trump ralley= could be much worse for many more; but so far recovery rate has bee so high 99%/+;
/89% for Italy, as many bad choices as they made.
EVEN though DAL+ AAL may go bankrupt/blamegame the virus. ?? IF the vi is the real reason ;BOTH OF THEM GO BANKRUPT why did they go bankrupt with no virus.??
QQQ is still superstrong, actually i figured summer rally would be weaker??

There will be no second waves, but the first wave might have been temporarily halted, so 1st wave might resume, Italy, Spain, UK, NYC and NJ no 2nd wave as they've had a proper 1st wave. Florida, France, South Korea they've postponed there 1st wave so they'll get it back.

No face mask until the end in the UK, reason, they want it spread, but don't want to appear to be doing so, there putting through the media the FEAR side, but they know it's not a big deal.

Speaking a mate earlier, NHS not seen in ages and her and all her NHS mates say it's all bollox, total over reaction with the lockdown.

The new norm is to bump into someone and ask, do you know of anyone that's died from it and the answer is always NO, public are catching on, it's only 12% of UK deaths this year after all.

Testing positive means very little. Testing positive means that the Wuhan Virus is in your system. You would be amazed at all the things that are in your system. It is only when the presence of something is exceedingly large that it makes a difference.

Related concepts - viral load - amount of virus necessary in someone's system to pass it to another person. This concept is underdefined.

Key variable is deaths. I know there is a lag between infect and death but Death is still the deciding factor of how serious the situation is.

At all times know - Some groups want the virus to last forever because they get more government money that way. It also excuses a lot of people for doing nothing. It also attracts money to hospitals and research.

To sensationalize is to get more gov money.

You're an idiot but a useful example as to why the US has a lot of infections. Getting the virus can create long term health issues the medical community cannot quantify yet. It is in fact a lingering serious issue for many living people who recently had the virus.
