  1. Greetings, I am a new member and I would like some advice or assistance if you could oblige yourself. I graduated from college in May of 2002 with a degree in Economics (Magma cum Laude). All I want in life is a job within 10 feet of a trading desk. Pushing paper, getting coffee, taking calls doesn't matter I just need someone to give me a chance. I have been following the markets for over 7 years and studying TA for just under 3, if you could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

  2. ...or NYC if you can stomach the town and aren't a scardy type.
Get a job on the floor as a clerk. Chicago may be better, but I bet many young bright eyes and bushy tailed youth are also having the same idea. Forget the desk, they want some computer experience, connections or some skills.
After you worked the floor they will hire you to do desk work etc. Also get the series 3, the futures broker license. (it is easy)
