Assent Trading On Cnbc

  1. the SEC is'nt going to do anything to Assent..it was an isolated incident..are the Sec going to shut down UBS or Morgan Stanley? no..thats where the real cromes happened...

  2. The two employees were regional OSJ's. That's not good.

    I think it's interesting they only got 30k of the 150k

    More interesting is the disposable cell phones, secret codes and the money exchanged in a Dorito's bag.

  3. In all seriousness , a case might be made for civil fines against the OSJ's supervisors for "failure to supervise."

    That's about as far as it would go.

    What about the extortion and the wire fraud? I do believe if the sec didn't have anything on those charges it wouldn't have come up. My concern is that assent just get rid of all the bad employees so i can trade with a clear mind. Iam sure more are still in the firm and will be uncovered soon.
