Assent Conversions?

    Is that the wash sale technique where a third party allows you to get short at an uptick price and then dumps the shares to the ECNs or the specialists basically hitting the bid?
    You pay the whatever spread there is plus commissions.

    Basically a third party firm will buy the stock from you at an uptick.

  7. Interesting. Thank you for providing some information on this new product. Do you have any other details? For instance, what are the fees? Can you do this on any stock, or does the third party restrict it to certain stocks only?

    Here is an idea

    Call Hold and ask them yourselves, they will be happy to explain it.

    Im not sure what slips are I thought they were maybe the same as SMPs

    can we just get to the bottom of this thread. Are slips ok to use? what firms offer it? Can a trader use them if they are still not approved by the SEC?
