you have set yourself a daunting task learning to trade e minis by reading posts on ET. You are better off on your own quite frankly because of the obvious reasons you have wisely come to understand. No doubt you have come to believe that price is paramount because it is what Traders trade and now you are trying to see whether ask-bid vol can be of assistance. You can do this for yourself very easily by simply watching price and your version of accumulated ask-bid. You don't need any other opinion other than the one you will formulate from watching price and CDV.
