Ask the doctors: How much fruit can I eat and stay within the sugar guidelines?

  1. I agree that fruit is okay, but fruit juice has too much sugar in it for humans to handle.

    TRUE;
    if one slurps 64oz of orange juice @ once LOL:D:D
    But real juice 7 oz pac= with 100% vitamin C + about 100caleries=perfect:caution::caution:
    But have to watch out for the many that spike it with sugar, cane sugar , dextrose sucalose ;
    i tend to avoid that cr*p.
    Fruit is best, has fiber + no tellingwhat micronutrients in it.
    DID you hear about the woman on the news that said ''my daughter thinks she is a cat, what do i do??''
    DR said, take her to a vet LOL. She sued him /wow amazing blame shift by that parent:caution::caution:

  4. Without the fiber it's just sugar water with some vitamins thrown in.

  5. I remember reading long ago that drinking up to 4oz of fruit juice was okay. Not sure what the current thinking is about this.

    100% juice, I read the back label,100% vitamin c, for 8 oz.
    110 caleries-8 oz, orange juice as an example . 0% added sugars

    I get plenty of fiber, 100% whole wheat, brown rice, fresh fruit ,pineapple,[ vitamins].......
    Cant really tell much off the front label; they love to hide added refined or cane sugar + fat.
    Fresh fruit + homegrown maybe best when available:D:D
