Asian trading reversals?

  1. I keep hearing that currencies, during Asian trading hours, tend to go in an opposite direction of a trend to that of the European hours. Is this true? What has been your experience on this? Are there any particular currencies that behave this way much of the time (i.e. USD/JPY or EUR/JPY)? Anything similar for North American and Euro hours, or North American and Asian hours?

  2. Yes, sometimes that is true. :D

  3. That correlation is very poor ...........

It's easy enough to look on the hourly charts and you'll see that that is not a good strategy to follow.

  5. It may be more accurate to say that stops are run during the Asian session. Best to catch some sleep during this time.

  6. Break the three sessions up into spreadsheets...you may be surprised in what you find...
