Putting aside that asians will benefit most, you guys don't seem to realize that when you make comments like this you're essentially saying that minorities who you believe should get the benefit of racial quotas (apart from Asians, of course) simply don't have merits to compete with non-minorities (again, grouping Asians into the non-minority group for some stupid reason). Its amusing to watch.
Mississippi colleges and employers will be fighting each other to give "merited" POC students and employees a shot in their school/comp. to voluntarily maintain a diverse campus and work environment now. It's what libertarians keep telling me.
Because you're just calling it something else. But at the end of the day, the decision is being made to allow admissions based on race, not merits. So call it a quote if you want, or call it "Affirmative Action" - 25 years since the Grutter v. Bollinger (2003) ruling - where it was argued (by then SC justice O'Connor): "We expect that 25 years from now, the use of racial preferences will no longer be necessary to further the interest [in student body diversity] approved today.” So you can call it a quote or a "use of racial preferences", I don't care. It's the same thing.
