Nikkei is DOWN 614 ....no wait there is a turnaround happening.... only 607 down now Hang Seng down 581 at lunch (and you know how it trades after lunch on days like this...) Adv 1 Dec 34 Goldilocks Fut DOWN 107!!!!!! I knew this would be ugly ......eventually....
this unwinding is massive.. just panic in the streets ... and i don't know over what, other than carry trade unwinding and contagious selling.. oh well. it is a buying opportunity, but i'm waiting until the dust settles. hang seng enterprise index is at November levels. so much for the china boom and blowoff top.
i really would've thought if the hedgies were this leveraged up on long futures, that at least the dow/nasdaq/sp would have peaked much higher. is this just a short fest? and not an outright unwinding?
