Doubleline has a few bond funds, DBLEX and DBELX, in emerging markets, but their performance has been sh*t.
Every category of Global Govt and Corporate bonds has been in the shitter for a long time now. I'm finding the negativity is warranted. One firm owes just $10 billion to offshore but has been instructed to prioritize $173 billion to employees, among other things. That's a really long line to collecting. Massive State bailouts are required and have yet to emerge. Waiting makes it worse. The CCP will loose control of the situation.
How many Evergrande-like companies are included in this fund? And what kind of recourse are there if they default? So taking into account of the default risk, how is the "high yield" worth it? They are not risk-adjusted.
