  1. Not meaning to disparage Mokwit's comment in my addition to my earlier post ... I simply haven't figured out how to improve my trading by taking the cash markets into account.

And thanks for the clarification def.

I don't think we trade the same way Kiwi. I have found the cash 1 hr opening range to be better than the futs and also with thinner markets like SPI, all kinds of things can happen when the cash is closed. Likewise with eg HSI especially, certain gentlemen take advantage of the pre cash open thinness to bamboozle the type of trader who phone their orders in at the open.

  5. Excellent Commentary
    ...............................................................

What is really meaningful here is that as long as there is a brokerage like IB...one can pick the most tradable market...as all markets have lower and higher volatility times...

This further secures the steadiness of revenues to professional traders...

Congrats to IB for being a true visionary for professional independent traders for the world markets....

    Thank you IB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't want to be a party pooper either, but that flower on the monitor gives her away. No charts, no nuthing. She should cash out now and put the money in a bank.

This is a real trading room of a real trader.

That picture came from one of the "what's your office look like" ET threads. Its not mine, but close enough. The picture is obviously from one of the traders that has been around the block a few times.

That kid in the picture is just too cute. :p

and back on topic. If that trader and her crowd are what ran up the Nikkei last year, look out!
