  1. After suing for 30 million she only got 5, and the lawyers get 1/3.An actual good negotiation by Trump.

Jan 6 was a set up, people need to understand their gov't has contempt for anyone not in power.
Trump's FBI thinks Epstein really killed himself somehow, so even our own people are co-opted.
Nancy's planted shooter was in no danger from an unarmed woman, none of the protestors in the building were armed.

The guy or woman is a racist member of this forum. That person is against different ethnicity groups but prefers to target those in the news who are "black" more than any other ethnicity group...ignoring his own ethnicity group who does the exact same crime.

That person once had an issue with the phrase "minority group" by trying to argue with me it only refers to "blacks" while he posted likes to the racist message posts from other racist ET members who were soon permanently banned by Baron for their racist message posts.

The term “minority” means Indigenous, Asian, Alaskan Native, Black (not of Hispanic origin), Hispanic (including persons of Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, and Central or South American origin), Pacific Islander or other ethnic group underrepresented in a country.

He showed up at this forum at a time when a lot of active members where posting about police or none law enforcement who committed crimes against unarmed people of color.

It reminds of when I spent my last 6 months of the military on active duty at grad school.

There was a campus event inviting people of color to get to know each other. Students who attended the event were Asians, Blacks, Hispanics, Indigenous, Pacific Isander, and mixed race at a time when the phrase diversity, equity, inclusion were being used.

The event was hosted by the Asian, Black groups at the University.

I will be attending an event in the U.S. on Memorial Day in the states hosted by the VFW and the VA with my mom (a Vietnam photographer from France who married my father a military officer/Indigenous).

The event will be held at the home of a retired Asian colonel who served with my old man. It was originally scheduled to be held at the Hines VA hospital until Pete Hegseth barred it from being held at the Hines VA hospital...the same for other VA hospitals in America.

Hegseth is not invited (joke among people who work at the VA and the VFW) because he has a tattoo on his bicep (Deus Vult) that had barred him from attending Biden's inauguration when he was flagged by another military officer in the National Guard.

It was a big issue for Hegseth that it resulted in him leaving the military and including it as his reason for leaving the military in his book...The War on Warriors because he considers it as an attack on America's military warriors.

Deus Vult is affiliated with far-right and neo-Nazi groups, who use it to express a belief in "liberation at the end of the sword" in the name of God, often associated with a hatred of other cultures and religions. I saw that tattoo a few times when I was in the military...we didn't trust them only because they were seen off-base with white supremacist groups who also pretended to be religious.

The retired colonel who once served with my old man was once beaten by Neo-Nazis with tattoos like that when he was in college at an off-campus party.

Simply, anyone associated with any far-right or neo-nazi group and those bearing that tattoo...they're barred from attending any VFW or VA events in the state of Illinois hosted outside of the VA by a private citizen.

Last of all, any person of color who wears a Chicago Bulls hat and has a tattoo are being targeted by ICE in the state of Illinois. That would imply Pope Leo (Chicago native) could be detained when he visits Chicago or his brother has probably been interviewed by ICE about the location of the Pope...sarcasm at my mom's Catholic church in Chicago.

P.S. Babbitt was a military veteran who knew the rules of engagement involving violent rioters who are chanting "Hang Mike Pence" and searching all the chambers for any congressional member who they felt did not support Trump in his quest to overturn the vote of the people.

As an American and Veteran...no pity for her because the law enforcement officer protecting those congressional members in that chamber gave them many warnings to stop trying to break through the barricade to get at the congressional members hiding in the chamber room behind the protection of armed capitol police officers with their guns drawn at the angry crowd.

She was in a helpless position trying to crawl though a broken window, and she was summarily executed. Sound like a lack of effective training and a lack of impulse control.

Not the issue but Baron knows my prior user name before he gave me permission to get a new user name when several racists thought my prior user name was Muslim when it's a Japanese Candlestick term merged with a Martial Arts term.

Simply, I've been here since the beginning when this forum wasn't a forum...it was a website with a forum and live chat rooms before Baron converted it to a full forum. Baron gave me permission to change my username.

Regardless, Ashli Babbitt was a 14 year military veteran who went through basic training just like every military soldier. She knows what will happen if someone on the other side of a barricade has a gun and other rioters with her are warning her that "there's a gun" in reference to the police officer on the other side pointing a gun directly at the broken out window...

The dumbass still decided to jump on on that window frame to get above an through the window to gain entry on the other side of the barricade. She did that after warnings from other rioters who were standing next to her regardless if she heard the police officer or not.

Government Justice department found no wrong doing and settle the case with her family instead of smearing her name beyond calling her a Qanon supporter (her husband admits to such) with President Trump now back in office.

Simply, we all know this will go no further than a financial settlement because no criminal charges can be made after the Justice department found no wrong doing and that his actions were "reasonable".

The $5 million dollar settlement did not mean the government agreed that the officer was negligent or that Babbitt's civil rights were violated, but it did allow the family to receive compensation for their loss.

The settlement was reached after the Justice Department had cleared the officer of criminal wrongdoing and found that he had acted in self-defense or to protect lawmakers (Republicans and Democrats).

Your reply was that you were here longer than me. :p

You must than know who was Joe from the very beginning of Elitetrader.com :sneaky:

Civil disobedience shouldn't be treated as military conflict. He could have pushed her back to the other side or used other nonlethal force. That's why there is a $5M settlement.

Agree but it was not "civil disobedience".

You may want to Google the difference between "civil disobedience" and a "riot" if you're not willing to take my word about the differences.

There was a violent crowd outside who can be heard yelling "Hang Mike Pence" after they built a gallows and the crowd inside the Capital were attempting to smash through the barricade...a barricade put there in front of that door by police officers and congressional members who were then hiding inside the locked chamber...some praying to God and others calling their family to say "Goodbye"

    Violence:

Civil disobedience is generally nonviolent, while riots are defined by their violent nature.

    Purpose:

Civil disobedience aims to make a point and bring about change through lawbreaking, while riots are often motivated by frustration and a desire for immediate action (to change the outcome of the peoples vote).

    Intent:

Those participating in civil disobedience often intend to be arrested, while rioters often attempt to avoid arrest after violence (e.g. smashing through a barricade) against law enforcement, or the military (e.g. National Guard, Reservist).

Regardless, if you do not know the difference between a riot and civil disobedience...something is wrong with your head.

The strange aspect, if all of them had broken down that barricade...they were at the wrong entrance to try to gain access to that chamber full of congressional members hiding.

Also, not one Republican or Democrat hiding inside that chamber came out to greet the people for their "civil disobedience".

The world saw what happen as it happened in real-time on TV plus multiple Youtuber's live streaming the riot outside and inside. The truth can never be whitewashed.

They were hiding and its something you would not be doing if those people on the other side of the barricaded door were "peaceful" and displaying only "civil disobedience".

Get over it because you now have the guy in office that you wanted back in 2020. Enjoy the division of the country that was created and still exist because more people are worried about their jobs when jobs are taken away from them in comparison to a global health crisis.

Rioters generally are not shot in the USA, although it would have been a nice precedent in the case of Antifa and BLM several years ago.
