Only in the your land of unicorns and candy canes.

From the cronies and govt perspective a good carbon tax blocks the rise of competitors and keeps the people in place.

I have trouble believing there are human beings who still have not learned the lessons of power and government. Government is made up of men and woemen who want power and money. They get the money from the cronies who exchange the money to cement their business in place, make more money and destroy competition. That is in a democracy.

In more Socialist countries the cronies have to share their profits with the politicians.

In a communist country the politicians take all the money and the power.

Why the hell don't you all understand that yet?

Now lets look at it from an economic perspective.
As you go towards communism you destroy the standard of living of the people.
Freedom perspective... as you go towards socialism you destroy freedom.

What is to like about bigger government? Is there any national government in the world which needs more power? They are already too big. ... they are already destroying culture and nations for market share of the cronies.

What the hell? Why don't people observe and see?

  3. Considering how effective most government programs are, if you are really worried about AGW then you should support a government program to produce it. At least we'd get something out of it other than useless papers by academic whores.

So here we have a lefty who sells greenhouse gases for a living telling us we should be happy about good carbon taxes. You want to talk about meds...
Why don't you start by doing something yourself and cease selling greenhouse gas products.

Increasing our taxes... you must be on drugs.

  8. I'm afraid it's going to "all come down to that".

Being civil and respecting the Constitution and "rule of law" isn't making a dent in Lefty agenda and behavior.

  9. "Principled conservatives" don't seem to understand the concept of "game over." Now republicans cannot even win in Orange County California.
