Article Containing Cool Images of Supersonic Shockwaves

  1. Previously published images of supersonic shockwaves have previously been under more controlled conditions by using a model in a windtunnel. These images are off actual flying aircraft.

    Although the article above talks about noise reduction being a possible benefit of this testing, improved supersonic energy efficiency and improved stealth aircraft capabilities may be possible.

    Mathematical and physics modeling theories can be verified or improved with these images as well.
